With the introduction of EASA a few changes are required to our terms and conditions and the way we operate.
Giving Consent.
A major change is that we have to formally record your consent for us to access your medical records. By accepting our terms and conditions you do give us your consent to access your medical record as held by the CAA for the purpose of the management of your application for a medical.
Privacy Policy.
By registering and making a booking on this system you grant permission for your AME, with whom you have booked an appointment, to access your medical records held on the database at the CAA.
You will be required to present a form of photographic identification if it is your first visit.
You give permission for your AME, with whom you have booked an appointment, to have access to your medical records until such time as this process is repeated with another AME.
Gloster Aviation Medicals will never pass on your details to any third party and will only use your email address for purposes directly related to the site.
EASA/CAA medicals may now require additional interchange of medical information between the Aeromedical Examiner (AME) and the patient’s General Practitioner and any Medical Consultant involved in investigations and treatment. Registration and booking on this site therefore implies informed consent for Gloster Aviation Medicals to request such information as may be required in order to correctly certify a Pilot or ATCO as fit/unfit to exercise EASA privileges of the licence. Please note that such consent is now an EASA requirement.
Warranty Disclaimer.
Gloster Aviation Medicals is provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, other than those warranties which are implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under the laws applicable to this agreement.
Limitation of Liability.
Your use of Gloster Aviation Medical’s booking system is at your sole risk. By completing the registration procedure, you expressly warrant that Gloster Aviation Medicals, Time Management Solutions Ltd and anyone else who helped create, produce, or deliver Gloster Aviation Medicals, are not liable for any damages you may suffer when you use it. In particular,Gloster Aviation Medicals, and Time Management Solutions Ltd, can not be held responsible for any performance problems, errors, omissions, service interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in transmission, computer viruses, communication line failures, theft or destruction of your information caused by use of Gloster Aviation Medicals.
Gloster Aviation Medicals and Time Management Solutions Ltd are also not responsible for the behaviour of any other user of Gloster Aviation Medicals, and can not be held liable for any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or third-parties who use or participate in Gloster Aviation Medicals.
No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Gloster Aviation Medicals or Time Management Solutions Ltd, or through or from the service shall create any warranty not expressed on the site.
